Hello my dear friends,

A young moose
some of you have already realised that I am back in Austria. Here some words about Sweden. After a few cozy days at the home of my boyfriends parents and a visit of a moosepark, we travelled at to Stockholm. Did I mention moose park? Ok, let me tell you about that: we had to drive 3 hours by car to get there. There we had a really nice tour, where we learned fascinating things about moose. For example: Did you know that they can dive? I didn’t! They can close their nose and eat plants under water. After visiting the moosepark we drove to a little but nice waterfall.
One thing I really like about Sweden is, that the state supports the young people a lot. For example: They have really good prices for the young people for the railway – and also the connections are very good.
On Friday morning we went shopping. It was great that we had only 20 minutes to the shopping area with the bus and there were all kinds of shops. But the best was the brand outlet, how I know it from the US. So, when you need some clothes for outdoor activities you will feel like in the paradise in Sweden. As we got hungry we went to MAX. This is a Swedish fast food restaurant with very good, also vegan food – burgers. So if you are in Sweden then you have to visit MAX.
On Saturday we went into the center of Stockholm and visited some nice spots. Stockholm is a very beautiful city. The old town was my favourite. Everywhere sweet little cafés and very colorful houses. After that we went by ship to a little island in Stockholm, called Djurgården. There we visited the Vasa museum. The Vasa is a battleship from the 16th century, which sank on its maiden trip. It is the biggest ship of this century which was salvaged.
The next day we had to drive at 6 o’clock to the airport and we were already in the evening back in Austria. And on Monday I was finally at home in Graz, because on Wednesday I had my last entrance examination there.
And yes, you wont believe it, but as you read this, I am already in Italy with my family, but no worries, I will tell you about it when I come back 😉
See you soon,
Miss Ellis
