Many of you have been asking me about a special animal here on Campus and so I decided to write a blog post about it.
But let me start at the beginning, so that even the ones who haven’t met that animal can follow along.
Almost a year ago – in February of this year – we came here to Honduras as the Matteson group and almost at the same time a little visitor/animal arrived there as well – a little kitten, with not much fur, almost starving and not even wanting to play. Everyone only called her “The Ugly Cat”.
But Matthias, one of the Matteson students, saw the needs of this poor kitten and started taking care of her. He called her Mathilda.

antes = before / despus = after
It was almost like a miracle to see, that after a few weeks she started playing, her fur grew and she started to become prettier and prettier. By the time we left she was a very cute and pretty baby cat J
Sooooooo, after not being here for over half a year, everyone wondered, what happened to this cat? Who took care of her? Is she still alive? And if yes, what is her name and how does she look?
When I first saw the cat, I could not believe that it was the same cat of before. A little kitten grew to a big cat – and not just big, also quite fat!
After we left Jennita and Jenson – a couple, which is working here – took care of her. The cat is doing very well and she is definitely not the “ugly” cat anymore. They called her simple “Kitty”.
So now my dear friends: What can we learn from this story? What Object Lesson can it teach to us?
Leave a comment and I am happy to read, what you learned from this.
With love,
Hanna
